MeAI — AI Creation Platform for Ages 6–18
MeAI is an AI creation platform for young people ages 6–18, combining hands-on AI learning,
model training, and coding to help them build AI-powered applications, chatbots, and conversational AI.
What Young People Build on MeAI
Train real machine learning models in the ML Lab, design conversational AI chatbots in FORGE,
code AI apps with MeAI Script, and complete hands-on Python and block-coding projects — all
guided by African storytelling and adventure quests.
How It Works
Pick a project or quest, follow the interactive comic lesson, collect data, train a model,
and write the code that brings the idea to life. Along the way learners earn XP, badges, and
certificates while exploring artificial intelligence, machine learning, and programming.
Built Around African Storytelling
Unlike most coding platforms, MeAI teaches AI concepts through African-inspired characters and
quests set in a savanna world. Learners meet the NIA AI companion and a cast of ranger guides as they
learn how computers recognize patterns, train machine learning models, and make decisions —
explained in age-appropriate language for ages 6 to 18.
For Parents and Educators
MeAI is free to start and designed to be safe for young people. Parents can monitor their child's
learning journey, and educators get a dashboard to manage classrooms, assign lessons, and track
student progress and achievement across schools and community programs across Africa and beyond.
